Ooty

Botanical Garden - This garden has wide variety of plants and include Italian and Japanese sections. Here you can find different types of roses, imported shrubs, rare flowering plants, eucalyptus trees and several old trees. A highlight of this garden is the fossilized tree trunk, about 20 million years old.
Rose Gaden - This is a rose garden with more than 2500 varieties of roses.
Doddabetta peak - At a hight of 2623 meters above sea level, this
is the highest peak of Nilgiris hills and it is the junction of the Western and Estern Ghats. It is located at a distance of 13 Kms from Ooty.
Ooty Lake - It is about 2.5-km-long. The Ooty Lake is a place worth visiting, where you can go for boating and fishing.
Coonoor - It is located in an area of 13.2 sq on the way from Coimbatore to Ooty(Udhagamandalam). It is second largest hill station in the Nigiris.
